With Christmas just around the corner, I’m sure we’ve all got a few lucky little ones on our shopping list but have no idea where to start.  If you’ve got a kiddo to shop for who likes cars, race tracks, or even just customizing toys for endless fun, Zoom Tubes Car Trax is definitely the way to go.

Stir Up Some Fun This Summer With the Beaker Creatures Liquid Reactor Super Lab

Are your kiddos like mine and already whining “I’m bored”, when it seems like summer just started?  Give your little ones some out of this world fun with Beaker Creatures from Learning Resources.  These mysterious creatures from tiny distant planets are heading to Earth in search of science adventures, and they need your help!  Your kids will LOVE dissolving the Beaker Creature Reactor Pods and seeing which creatures they’ll discover, and with 35 creatures in all to discover, the fun never ends!

 

 

The Beaker Creatures Liquid Reactor Super Lab has been a HUGE hit with my children, even my oldest (14 years old) who seems to be too cool for anything these days.  So, just what does this wacky looking reactor do?  It’s afun way to explore the colorful bubbling creature reaction that come from the Reactor Pods!  After placing one of two included Reactor Pods within the Super Lab’s center chamber, kids send water whirling through the tubes with the help of two hydroplungers, filling the chamber and triggering the amazing reaction (which can bubble up out of the chamber so plan ahead and lay something down…trust me!).  Once the reaction ends, kids can extract their Beaker Creatures collectibles and start classifying!

Summer Fun For Everyone

Well guys, summer is officially here. Yesterday I watched my youngest graduate kindergarten while I cried like a baby.  My other two children have also moved on to 7th and 10th grade, and today is our first day of summer break! I was dreading hearing “Mom…I’m bored” all summer long so I set out to find a variety of toys that would help me make it through the summer just a little bit more sane. Here are some of our favorite picks for summer fun:

So…how does Makey Makey work?
