Ozeri Kitchen Items You Can’t Live Without #Review

If you know me, you know my kitchen is filled with Ozeri goodies. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the Green Earth Fyring Pan 3 Piece Set from Ozeri so I of course jumped at the chance to try them out.

The Ozeri Green Earth pans are unlike other ceramic cookware out there. Each Ozeri pan utilizes GREBLON cermaic. GREBLON ceramic is an ultra-safe ceramic coating from Germany. This coating is 100% PTFE, PFOA and APEO free meaning there are no heavy metals or chemicals. The honeycomb texture helps distribute the heat more evenly for food that will melt in your mouth with deliciousness. These pans are incredibly easy to clean, and you’ll find yourself using them again and again with absolutely perfect results.

The Ozeri Green Earth pans cooked my ground beef to perfection. I CAN NOT stand gray meat that has been steamed by poor pan performance. No more gray nasty meat thanks to these awesome Ozeri pans.

I can’t stress how well these pans work. I have a couple Copper Chef pans (that I paid an arm and a leg for!) which I’m sure you guys have all seen on TV. Ozeri Green Earth pans blow Copper Chef out of the water! There is no competition between the two, so if you’re looking for a great pan, skip the headache and go with Ozeri from the start.

Ozeri also makes INSTAVAC Green Earth Food Storage Containers to save all those yummy leftovers of the meals you make in your Green Earth pans.

These containers feature an instant vacuum seal with no pumping, no motors, and no confusion. Press down on the lid, the air comes out of the one-way valve, and your food will stay fresh and delicious so you can enjoy it again. Removing air helps reduce naturally occurring bacteria, keeping your food fresh for longer. The wave pattern on the bottom keeps food elevated and away from any liquids that may pool at the bottom of the container. Fruit and veggies stay fresh and crispy with these containers. The date dial is a really nice addition to these containers. Set the dial to the date you placed the food in to eliminate guess work on whether the food is still edible or not.

I really like the depth of these containers. My daughter and I made hot air balloon themed cupcakes for her preschool lesson ‘up, up and away’. Mini cupcakes topped with frosting and sprinkle covered donut holes can be hard to accommodate in food storage containers. There was enough room in these containers that they fit nicely, and even had plenty of room!

As if these containers weren’t awesome enough, add in BPA-free, stain resistant, shatter-proof with the added benefit of being microwave, dishwasher AND freezer safe and you’ve got some of the greatest food storage containers out there.

Parish Parcel Cajun Curated Subscription Box #Review

If you haven’t heard of Parish Parcel yet, you’re missing the greatest thing you’ve never heard of. They offer a variety of Cajun items in a monthly subscription box for Cajun lovers like me. My oldest son and I LOVE Cajun food so getting to try a Parish Parcel box was like heaven delivered to my door.

Each Parish Parcel box will contain 6-8 uniquely Cajun and authentically Louisiana made items to your door. Included each month will be a taste of Louisiana, including; spices, apparel, food, art, music, recipes and Louisiana made merchandise. The box that I received was FABULOUS!!

One of my favorite items was the Chocolate Pecan Pie coffee from Acadian Coffee Roasters. The aroma is reminiscent of a piping hot pie being freshly pulled from the oven at your Grandmother’s on Thanksgiving Day. This coffee has a nice smooth, rich, and sweet flavor that will make your mornings deliciously better.

The state of Louisiana cookie cutter I received is absolutely adorable! Louisiana state colors are blue, white, and gold, so I figured what better way to ice these cookies than with Louisiana state pride?

Tony Chachere’s make a Creole Seasoning that is a great spice addition to just about anything. Tony Chachere’s Creole Seasoning enhances the flavor of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, eggs, soups, stews, and salads – even barbecue and french fries! Use it anywhere, any time, on any food.

The Parish Parcel drink cozy is great for keeping my drinks cool and sweat-free in this Arizona heat!

The Walker & Sons Slap Ya Mama Cajun Jambalaya Mix and the Cajun Chef Hot Sauce paired perfectly together! It was like having a little bit of Louisiana at home and it was DELICIOUS!

Last but not least, the Bourbon Royalty Queen of Bourbon candle that was included in my Parish Parcel box. The scent of this candle is out-of-this-world good. This candle marries the bite of run with the sweetness of fruit. For being a small sample of this candle, it still filled my home with an amazing scent.

Ozeri 12 Inch Wok #Review

Surprise, surprise…another Ozeri item that I fell in love with and had to have. I have been wanting a wok for quite some time now, so when I saw that Ozeri had one I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it.

This Ozeri pan is unlike other ceramic cookware pans. The Green Earth Woke utilizes and ultra-safe ceramic coating. This coating is inspired by nature and is 100% PTFE and PFOA free. The coating is so incredibly slick, I haven’t had any problems with food sticking which I would’ve experienced in other pans by now. The non-stick coating doesn’t release any harmful fumes or toxins that will seep into your foods at high temperatures like other pans have been known to do. The coating makes this pan incredibly easy to clean which a busy mother-of-three like myself can really appreciate.

This wok is made out of durable heavy-gauge die-cast aluminum with no heavy metals or harmful chemicals. It will handle the abuse of a busy household without compromised performance. This wok is a great item to FINALLY have in my kitchen…now I think I need the 14-Inch wok 😉 .

It should come as no surprise that I LOVE Ozeri. I have an ever growing assortment of their products and am more and more impressed each time I try a new Ozeri item. I decied to show my kitchen some love with a few new items.

What kitchen would be complete without ceramic knives? I had been wanting to get my hands on some ceramic knives for a while so when I found the Ozeri Elite Chef Ceramic Knives it was a no-brainer. They are a beautiful sight to see when you pop that box open. These knives are SUPER sharp, so be careful when you use them. You will be able to slice through just about anything you can imagine and it will feel like melted butter underneath these knife blades. Ghostbusters Heat Reveal Mug #GhostMug #Review

This Ghostbusters Heat Revealing Mug is a must-have for any Ghostbusters fan! I grew up in the 80’s and remember watching the original, and I can’t wait to see the re-make! I couldn’t wait to try out this mug and see the heat revealing logo change before my eyes.

This ceramic Ghostbusters mug is 11 oz so you can enjoy your morning cup of coffee in style, no matter how large you like your cup. The heated liquid reveals the hidden image and my kids thought it was just the coolest thing ever! I wish the final logo would’ve been a more pronounced image, but I really can’t complain…it still shows well enough to be pretty impressive.

Spice Up Your Life With The Spice Lab #Review

If you need some cooking inspiration, The Spice Lab has lots of great products available that will be sure to spice up your life. Whether you’re looking for different varieties of salt, spices, rubs, tea, sauces…you name it, The Spice Lab has it. I was sent a variety of products to try out and I had fun trying them out in different ways.

There are different Salt Collections available so you’ll be sure to find something that will fit your taste buds perfectly. In my Gourmet Salt Collection I received Himalayan Crystal Pink, Applewood Smoked, Cyprus White Flake, and Spanish Chorizzo salts. There is a pairing guide included that will help you decide which way to use each salt best. There are a few great suggestions for each type of salt, not just how I pictured them being used. I loved the way the different flavors changed up the way my food tasted and I have been having fun exploring using these salts in new and different ways.

The Tea In Jars are the most adorable little things! I received the Acai Berry and oh my goodness, it is delicious! It is an infused black tea that has a beautiful berry flavor. I have been putting the Acai Berry tea in my reusable filter for my single serve brewer and enjoying fresh flavor coffee as often as I please.

The French Onion Garlic Olive Oil Herb Blend totally transformed my pork chops! My husband loves his chops floured and fried, and I usually season the flour before hand but this stuff totally changed the flavor, and in a MAJOR good way. This blend complimented the pork chops perfectly and gave them an amazing, fresh, herby taste.

The Everglades Chicken & Gator Seasoning made our grilled chicken out of this world. The combination of these seasonings compliment chicken really well, and give a flavor I’ve always wanted and have never been able to achieve. My kids aren’t the biggest chicken fans, but the Everglades Chicken & Gator Seasoning has turned that around, and they even eat seconds!

End Reusable Packaging Headaches With REtape #Review

I try to keep pre-packaged foods out of my pantry as much as possible, but keeping EVERYTHING out is virtually impossible these days. I have found myself struggling with clips, clamps, scotch tape, twist ties, all to no avail. I usually end up with stale food that the kids won’t eat, and throw money in the trash can. REtape is the greatest invention you may not have even heard of!

REtape has already come in quite handy in my kitchen in the few short days that I’ve had it. REtape has blue sections and clear sections, and there’s a method to the madness here. The blue sections of the tape are non-sticky while the clear sections are. If you cut the tape in the blue section it will create a little pull tab to easily open your food packages.

The first day I had REtape in my kitchen it already came in handy in so many ways. The 4 packages pictured above are just the tip of the iceberg. If you look through my pantry pretty much EVERYTHING in there has clear and blue tape and if you ask me, it’s a pretty sight to see. Every package I have used REtape on is another package of food that will stay fresh, and one less item that gets tossed in the trash.

Why stop at just the kitchen though? I have found REtape useful for keeping lotions closed that are stubborn, pet food bags closed so my fat cats can’t help themselves, even keeping the lid shut on my mints in my purse! As soon as you try REtape you’ll become an instant fan like myself. With literally THOUSANDS of uses…how can you go wrong?
