Fun Finds at Walmart

The next time you’re shopping at your local Walmart, be sure to keep an eye out for these fun finds I snagged for my daughter.  I’m always looking for fun, new things and these Highlights books and Playfoam Pals were the perfect addition to Jade’s collection of fun things we’ve found at Walmart.

Well guys, summer is officially here. Yesterday I watched my youngest graduate kindergarten while I cried like a baby.  My other two children have also moved on to 7th and 10th grade, and today is our first day of summer break! I was dreading hearing “Mom…I’m bored” all summer long so I set out to find a variety of toys that would help me make it through the summer just a little bit more sane. Here are some of our favorite picks for summer fun:

So…how does Makey Makey work?

Alligator Clip two objects to the Makey Makey board. For example, you could place a clip on yourself, and a clip on a banana.   When you touch the banana, you make a connection, and Makey Makey sends the computer a keyboard message and the computer just thinks Makey Makey is a regular keyboard (or mouse).
