Ozeri Cardio Tech Pro Series Review

As you all know by now, I love my Ozeri products! I recently got to try the Ozeri Cardio Tech Pro Series and, you guessed it, I LOVE IT!! It fit really comfortably and works quickly without squeezing too tightly and causing discomfort.

The Ozeri Cardio Tech Pro Series comes with everything you’ll need. It comes with batteries, a nice sturdy case to keep it protected (which makes it super easy to throw in a purse or diaper bag on the go), and the instructions are really simple and easy to understand. You can program it for two different users which works out perfectly for both my husband and I. I typically have low blood pressure which I like to keep monitored, and my husband is the opposite with high blood pressure. Now we can track our numbers without having to take the time to write down every single entry in a log. It’s all stored within the Ozeri Cardio Tech itself, which keeps things super simple, and that’s something I truly appreciate.

You can see that the display screen is really big, clear, and easy to read. Although I’m only 30 I have bad eyesight and need to wear glasses (most days I don’t wear them because my kids say it makes me look old). I love that I don’t have to squint and strain my eyes just to see my result and that is awesome! Ozeri has taken out a lot of guess work and extra steps…it’s a simple as put it on, press start, and wait a few seconds. Some of you may not know that I was a CNA for a while, and at the beginning of my shift I went around and collected all of my patients vitals. Just to judge the accuracy I took my husbands blood pressure and pulse the good ol’ fashioned way I was taught, then we put my results up against the Cardio Tech. The numbers were spot on! There’s nothing better than a device that can simplify your life while being extremely accurate.

Etekcity 8 GB USB Voice Recorder Review

Another fabulous product from Etekcity! I recently tried out the 8 GB USB Digital Voice Recorder and I think it is absolutely fabulous! I have been wanting a digital voice recorder for a while, but everything just seems so complex and hard to figure out. Etekcity has taken out all of the complications and made something that’s functional, and compact.

The recorder is really simple to use, so for someone like myself it works out perfectly. It’s as simple as turn the device on, and wait for the blue light. Once you see the blue light, the device is recording. Simply turn the device back off and it will automatically save your recording. Once you’re ready to review what you’ve recorded, simply pop the device into your computer’s USB port and save them to your files. The battery is rechargeable, so there’s the added bonus of no extra expense on wasteful batteries. Even if you’re a busy person like myself, you’ll love that there is 150 hours of audio storage. This little thing can handle anything you can throw at it!

I wasn’t sure how the quality would be with it being so compact, but I was pleasantly surprised. Everything I’ve recorded is crisp, clear, and recorded to perfection. After having 3 kids, I have what I call “mom brain”. Even if I was thinking of something 5 minutes before, I won’t be able to remember what it was for the life of me. When I’m at home the USB recorder is always in my pocket, and I NEVER leave home without it. I never knew such a little device could make such a big difference in my life. RAVPower 4 Port Wall Charger Review

The RAVPower 4 Port Wall Charger has been a huge help here in my household. We’ve always been stuck using a computer, ps3, or Wii to charge things that require USB charging. With the RAVPower wall charger, you have an amazing convenience of charging up to 4 USB capable devices at one time through a standard wall outlet. Now I can charge my devices much quicker. I typically only have one or two USB ports available to charge via other methods so now I can charge everything all at once!

You can see that I can charge a wide variety of things. I have here charging a wireless speaker, cell phone, Nintendo DS and a Mobigo. The charge seems to be much quicker compared to charging through a different USB port, and the charger stops charging your device when it’s done so you don’t have to worry about frying any batteries. As many of you know by now, I’m a huge RAVPower fan, everything I have tried from them so far has been spectacular. The quality is really superior while still having an incredible price point that won’t break the bank. Anyone that uses a USB port for charging various devices needs to try out this 4 Port Wall Charger. It’s been a lifesaver and a time-saver!

Etekcity Roverbeats T3 Bluetooth Speaker Review

If you’re looking for a Bluetooth speaker that’s ultra portable, light weight, and amazing sound quality, the Roverbeats T3 from Etekcity is the best one I have come across.

I’m not the most tech savvy person, but I love listening to music on my phone. Connecting the Roverbeats T3 is the simplest Bluetooth connecting speaker I have tried. Being a mom of 3 there is ALWAYS chores to do, and music makes accomplishing them so much better. Having the Roverbeats T3 has been great! It’s compact enough that I can put it virtually anywhere while I clean and enjoy the crisp, clean, high quality sound.

I really like all of the features included in the Roverbeats T3. If my hands are wet or dirty and I want to pause my music I’ve always had to muck up the touchscreen on my phone. There is a pause/play button right on the speaker that works with the music app I use. How conveniently awesome is that? There is also a microphone directly on the speaker which comes in really handy when my husband calls while I’m listening to music. With other speakers I’ve tried I had to use my phone with my hands that are either covered in cleaner, soap, or muck of some sort.

Etekcity thought of everything! Your Roverbeats T3 will come with a charging cord, audio cord so you can directly connect your T3 to just about any device you can think of, even if it’s not a Bluetooth capable device, and a carrying pouch for when you want to take it on the go. I love taking my Roverbeats T3 with me when I’m out walking with the kids, and they love it too. We are actually getting out more and staying out longer. Time flies when you’re having fun!

Kinivo Wireless Bluetooth Portable Speaker Review and Giveaway

When it comes to Bluetooth accessories, Kinivo is definitely the way to go! I have been wanting to try a Bluetooth speaker for a while now, but I’ve been very intimidated to try because I’m just NOT a very tech savvy person anymore and learning new technology can be frustrating for me. Kinivo promised to be easy to set up and use, even for someone like me so I was eager to give Kinivo a try.

I have three kids, so that means lots of cooking and cleaning, all the time. Without music playing while I did it all I don’t think it would ever get done. That’s why I wanted to try the portable speaker, it would be easy to carry around from room to room, and the bonus of no wires to deal with.

The Kinivo Wireless Bluetooth Portable Speaker is really sleek and compact. Although it’s small, the sound, especially the bass, work really well. I can’t even listen to my music on full volume because it’s a bit too loud for me but my husband loves how loud it gets. The Kinivo speaker has been SUPER easy to use. The directions walk you through the set up really well, and after my first initial connect I don’t have to do it manually every time. I just kick on the speaker and it connects automatically. I’ve been using the speaker for a couple of weeks now, I wanted to really test out the batter life and how well it worked after the initial use. I use the speaker every day, and I have only had to charge it once so far, that’s pretty good!

When the battery gets low you will hear a warning sound while listening to your music, but you’ll get quite a few warning tones if you want to finish up whatever you’re doing and then charge it. When plugged into the charger, you will have a red indicator light in the front come on (hard to see but pictured above). Once the charge is complete the red light goes off, and the speaker is ready to use again.

I love how easy Kinivo made it! There have been no issues, and I love the portability of the wireless speaker. When I go out on a walk with my kids they love taking the Kinivo speaker along so the walk isn’t so boring. All the way around, a great product and something I recommend all of you check out.

RAVPower File Hub Review

The File Hub from RAVPower is perfect on so many levels for a busy person like myself. If you need to accomplish something, whether at home or on the go, File Hub can make your life easier on so many levels!

I am constantly having to shuffle pictures around! I usually end up just emailing them to myself so that I can retrieve them from my email on whatever device I’m using at the time that I need them. Now I don’t have to do that! I can wirelessly transfer files from mobile device to mobile device, or I can store them on an SD card and use the File Hub to send them as I need them. I can also conveniently charge my devices with the File Hub as well! No need to carry a wall charger with you and be stuck to an outlet! You can pack a small USB cord with you and charge your phone no matter where you are.

I absolutely love the Wi-Fi hotspot feature of the File Hub. It’s not only made my life simpler, but my husband is in love with it. He works graveyard shift and to pass the time while he’s tediously working he listens to internet radio. The problem is, the Wi-Fi at his work is a little spotty and his music app skips, pauses, and glitches making his night more frustrating. He said since he’s been using the File Hub to connect to Wi-Fi he hasn’t had one issue with the music app. So even if you’re picking up a spotty connection, connect with your File Hub and the problem is solved.

After everything I’ve tried from RAVPower, I have to say the File Hub is the best yet. Even if you don’t think you have a need for any of their products, look at their website and I guarantee you’ll end up finding something you just won’t be able to live without.

WatchMinder Review and Giveaway

If you have a child that has difficulty paying attention, there’s a great way to discretely guide them through their day. I came across a great product called WatchMinder while looking for ways to help my son stay focused and on track throughout his day. The greatness of WatchMinder is that it’s not just for children. There are new people finding new uses for the WatchMinder on a daily basis.

The WatchMinder has a really sleek design, and looks like your average sports watch. It is water-resistant and easily has withstood the abuse my 8 year old has put it through. My son Brayden has a pending diagnosis of high functioning autism. He’s always had difficulty because of this staying on task, and it has literally been a life interruption for him. School was very hard on Brayden. Every little thing was distracting for him, and he lost focus, and before he knew it the day was over and he had done none of his work! My husband and I decided that we were going to give homeschooling a shot to see if it worked out any better. After having him here and teaching him myself, I saw exactly what the teachers were trying to explain to me.

The WatchMinder has over 65 programmable functions, and is really easy to use. I’m not good with anything technical and I was able to set the watch for my son instead of relying on my husband to always do it. The WatchMinder vibrates when set instead of beeping, so it’s really discreet and nobody is hearing your alarms sound. We tried a watch before with my son but kids always asked him, “why is that always beeping?”. The gentle vibration is a quick, discreet, and gentle reminder to my son to stay focused, and pay attention. I noticed that it’s helped him get through his school work a bit sooner than usual. When it’s time to work offline in a workbook, usually he would sit there and do his work for a little bit and then stare off into space. I can set the WatchMinder when he’s sent to do his work and it’s his gentle reminder that he should be doing his schoolwork, not looking out the window at the dogs.

I love that the WatchMinder is rechargeable! No more having to hunt down expensive batteries, which my wallet is thankful for. It’s also better on the environment because it helps to cut down on electronic waste. All the way around, WatchMinder is a fabulous gift for yourself or anyone else. If you know someone with ADD/ADHD, has medical needs and needs to be reminded to take medication, please let them know about the WatchMinder so it can make their lives as simple as it’s made ours.

RAVPower Charging Cradle Review

RAVPower is my new favorite line of electronic accessories. It’s so hard to narrow it down to just one thing when I look at all of the products they offer. They’re all so functional, gorgeous, and convenient. When I saw the RAVPower dual charging cradle I knew I had to try it out. I have a spare battery for my phone, so when it’s time to charge I charge up my phone with one batter in it, then switch the batteries out and charge again. It’s time consuming and frustrating, but the Charging Cradle is my perfect solution.

The Charging Cradle comes with everything you will need. It comes with the wall adapter, USB cord, charging cradle, and removable case plate.

I absolutely love having the charging cradle sit on my dresser next to my bed. Not only does it look gorgeous sitting there, it’s super convenient. On the off chance that my phone goes off in the middle of the night, I’m left fumbling and feeling around the dresser for my phone, and most of the time I end up hitting the reject button while fumbling. Then I’m wide awake because I have to unlock my phone, figure out who it was, not a pleasant start to my day. I love the angle that the phone sits at. When my phone goes off late at night or early in the morning now it’s just as simple as a quick glance over at my charging cradle.

Before I put my spare battery in the rear slot I was wondering, “how do I know when the battery is done charging?” Well, I soon figured out that RAVPower had thought of EVERYTHING!

When the back-up battery is charging, you can see that there’s a red indicator light.

When the charge is complete the red light changes to green.

I have really fallen in love with the RAVPower products. They are really well made, super durable, visually appealing, and functional. There are TONS of different products that RAVPower makes, I know there is one that will be just right for your wants/needs/lifestyle. Make sure you check them out whether it’s for yourself, or a gift for friends and family.

RAVPower Luster Review

RAVPower makes the most genius, well manufactured items of their kind that I’ve ever seen. When I got the chance to review the Luster External Battery I was trilled. The best part about it is that it’s so much more than just an external battery!

The RAVPower Luster is also a flashlight, and a bright one at that! It has a high setting, low setting, and the function my kids love, it strobes! The fact that the flashlight is also rechargeable is genius! I love having mini flashlights around, but they always take the most awkward batteries, aren’t very bright, and they die quickly.

The Luster charges my phone really well. It seems to have a much quicker charge than if I were to plug into an outlet, and sometimes I need a charge and quickly! My phone sometimes has a problem accepting charging cords that are meant for that size port, and it can be frustrating! I didn’t have that problem with the included cord.

I didn’t have a USB/wall charger unit so I used to wall charger I had to see if it would work. Surprise, it does! You can easily charge the RAVPower Luster with the USB end in a desktop, laptop, xbox 360, wii, you name it. It will still get a full charge no matter how you charge it. A wall charger will charge the Luster quicker than when charging via USB, so if you’re crunched on time and want to leave but not without your Luster, this is a great feature. You can see the red light above. That indicates that the unit is charging.

And here you can see the blue light which indicates that the unit is done charging.

I have fallen in love with my RAVPower Luster. Since the day I got it, I have made sure I never leave home without it. My husband likes to use his phone when he’s at work to listen to music, and his battery dies quickly. He’s not working in a position where he can be stuck to a wall outlet to recharge his phone, so he also loves having the Luster. He doesn’t love that it’s pink, but he loves the convenience. I will be buying him one of his own so he can stop complaining about using the pink one, and stop taking mine!
