Bye Bye Barista…Hello Ninja Coffee Bar!

The days of ordering over-priced drinks from baristas with an attitude are gone! With the Ninja Coffee Bar, the best coffeehouse in town is on your counter. If you can dream it up, you can make it with the help of the Ninja Coffee Bar.

The Coffee Bar comes with everything you’ll need to make the most amazing coffee you’ll ever taste. Of course you can make a traditional pot of coffee, even select single cup, travel mug, half carafe or full…but I highly suggest using the ‘Raising The Coffee Bar’ recipe book included with your machine. You will be blown away at what you’re capable of making, and how easy it is to do!

The Salted Carmel Coffee is my absolute favorite and I have made it quite a few times already. I just can’t seem to get enough! A great flavor balance between salty and sweet with that sweet sweet kick of caffeine.

Very Vanilla Coffee is the perfect thing to warm up on a chilly day. A piping hot cup of coffee with just the perfect balance of vanilla and half and half.

Chocolate Carmel Coffee is another one of my favorites. I love chocolate just as much as any other woman and the blend of carmel and chocolate is perfection.

I LOVE seasonal drinks and the Marshmallow Mint Frappe is the perfect drink for the holiday season. I couldn’t find the recipe online, but you will be able to find it in the ‘Raising The Coffee Bar’ recipe book included with the Coffee Bar.

If you like iced coffee, (who doesn’t?), the Ninja has you covered as well. The brew over ice setting allows to brew iced coffee to perfection. The French Vanilla Iced Coffee is going to be a daily thing for me when the weather warms up…delicious!

Like frozen treats? Yeap, Ninja’s got you covered there as well. With the help of my Coffee Bar and my Ninja Auto-IQ Pro Compact System, I made the Coffee Cookies And Cream Frappe with ease. (You don’t need to have a Ninja blending system to make this drink, you can use your everyday blender but we all know Ninja just makes it that much better.)

Don’t forget dessert! I made a simple Coffee And Graham Icebox Cake and it was so SO tasty! This is just one of many desserts that you can make, but this was a crowd pleaser and will be made time and time again.

So…I guess a good question would be, what CAN’T you accomplish with the Ninja Coffee Bar? I would love to know what Ninja has inspired you to create!

Change The Game In The New Year With NutriBullet Pro 900 And Super Foods

I decided to be a little adventurous and try the Blueberry Breakfast Smoothie with the Cleansing Greens powder. Well, the Cleansing Greens powder is not my thing…I didn’t like it and was about to dump it down the drain when my 10 year old son asked to try it. He drank the whole thing and asked if there was any more, so I guess it all depends on each person’s individual taste. I re-made the smoothie without the cleansing greens and it was phenomenal.

The Cookie Butter Blast was by far my favorite smoothie that I made. In place of the cocao nibs called for in the recipe, I used the Super Boost powder and it tasted delicious. This recipe has been made time and time again because myself and my children just can’t get enough.

The Strawberry Oatmeal Smoothie is another crowd pleaser. When I make it for myself I put in a tablespoon of the Beauty Boost….YUM!

Last, but most certainly NOT least, the Strawberry Orange Dream Smoothie. I like to make this smoothie every other day with the Healthy Gut Super Foods. I suffer from Chron’s disease and the Healthy Gut has helped alleviate some of my more painful, and uncomfortable symptoms.

Abco Tech Ocean Light Speaker Review

Abco Tech has helped me transform my bedroom from a boring and drab space to a room that’s fun and inviting to be in. The Ocean Light Speaker is perfect for kids or adults and is super easy to use.

Easily connect virtually any device via bluetooth or auxiliary cord and listen to your favorite music. It’s great for setting the mood for relaxation and rest after the kids have laid down. It can be difficult unwinding after a long day and the Ocean Light Speaker has helped me greatly. I also love taking it into the bathroom when I soak in the tub…so inviting!

The Ocean Light Speaker has a couple different modes so you can choose the one you like best. You can pause the lights on a solid color, or you can have all 4 colors alternate on their own.

The Abco Tech Ocean Light Speaker is not just good for adults, it’s also great for kids! When my toddler has a hard time falling asleep i use my internet radio app, turn on the nature station, and within minutes she’s sound asleep. My sons are 10 and 12 and they also love using the speaker. It’s truly a great product the whole family will find a great use for.

Guitar Hero Live Review

If you are a fan of the Guitar Hero installments, welcome to the new Guitar Hero Live!!! An all new way to play what could possibly be the most fun game ever.

The guitar controller has been completely re-designed for a much more enhanced play experience. I’m a little old school and once I get used to something, I like it to stay that way and not change. I was a little intimidated, and initially wondered why well enough wasn’t left alone. I was SO wrong! The guitar re-design is genius! Why wasn’t it this way before?

The old guitars used to use a 5 colored button layout and oh my goodness the strain my pinky finger would feel kicking it up to anything more challenging than easy. The new button layout eliminated finger strain is a lot more like playing an actual guitar. There are 3 buttons on bottom, 3 buttons on top, and you can hold down the top and bottom button for an all new chord.

The visuals on Guitar Hero Live are stunning! Long gone are the days of the cheap animations. Real video makes the game play so much more entertaining. When you’re connected to the internet on your gaming console, you can even play along with the official music videos for the songs! The library is constantly updating with new music so you can have a great experience no matter what genre of music you prefer. I love the selection of newer music offered in Guitar Hero Live. Everything about the re-invention of Guitar Hero via Guitar Hero Live is stellar. Now it all makes sense why I didn’t see a new GH game for a while…they were putting all of their efforts into making a fun-to-play, seamlessly streaming game and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome.

Skylanders SuperChargers Review

Skylanders SuperChargers is the latest installment of the Skylanders games, and takes fun to a whole new level.

Skylanders Superchargers offers the same fun of Skylander games past, but offers new characters and now provides the ability to drive vehicles. Any Skylander can drive any vehicle, but to SuperCharge your vehicle use the Skylander that coordinates with the vehicle. Now you can not only explore on land, but you can also complete sea and air missions as well.

Kaos is back with his most powerful weapon yet! Skylands is on the verge of collapse thanks to Kaos’ Doomstation of Ultimate Doomstruction. The SuperChargers team has been assembled to pilot an unstoppable fleet of incredible vehicles. Beat Kaos and help save Skylands.

The great thing about Skylanders SuperChargers is that it can be fun for the whole family. With some help, my 4 year old can play along, but the game is also fun enough to keep my older kids as well as myself interested in the story and wanting to keep pushing forward to help save Skylands.

This is my kids’ collection of Skylander figures from previous games (they have every game thus far!). The wonderful thing about Skylanders SuperChargers is that all of the previous characters are compatible with the game so you can use your whole arsenal of figures to help defeat Kaos.

I couldn’t wait to try out every function on the Auto-IQ, so I made a variety of different things, and oh what fun it has been!

The holiday season is here, and what better way to say happy holidays than a Crushed Peppermint Frozen Frappe? I was amazed at how delicious, and smooth the frappe was. You would never know that there were whole candies in there, let alone 10 of them at that. The peppermint candies were perfectly pulverized and made a delicious holiday treat that my whole family couldn’t get enough of.

The peppermint frappe was SO good that I had to make another drink. The Apple Crumble Smoothie was another perfectly blended beverage. It tasted like a glass full of apple pie…more please!

Okay, so we know that the Nutri Ninja Auto-IQ is great at making drinks, what about soup??? Yeap, they’ve got you covered there. Broccoli Cheddar Soup so healthy and so delicious you’ll feel like you’re indulging on a diet-spoiling treat. I never in a million years imagined that I could get my kids to eat broccoli but this is a great way to do it. I had to make a second batch because my kids wanted to take some to school the next day…what a total win!

Salsa has never been so easy, or delicious! Whip up a batch of Best Blender Salsa and you have a quick and easy crowd-pleaser.

Same old boring dinners got you down? The Nutri Ninja Auto-IQ can help with that too. Baked Chicken Tamales were another big hit with my husband and kids. Easy to make, delicious, and nutritious…a mom couldn’t ask for anything more.

At the end of the day there’s nothing better than a fresh baked pie for dessert. This easy to make Basic Pie Dough is going to be a staple in my household. Between quiche, tarts, and pies, this recipe will be a well used one.

I had no idea that the Nutri Ninja Auto-IQ Pro Compact System was going to be so awesome. My expectations were certainly surpassed, and I’m so glad they were. Every day I’m finding new ways to better the way my family eats all with the help of the Auto-IQ!

G.G.Martinsen 32 GB MP3/MP4 Player Review

When it comes to electronics, it’s no secret that I’m quite picky. I like a device that’s visually appealing, easy to use, has buttons laid out in functional ways, and the most storage I can possibly get. With G.G.Martinsen I’ve found everything I love in one convenient yet affordable package. I received the 32 GB MP3/MP4 player, but it is also capable of being a media player, audio player with photo viewer, and also plays games and movies.

The device that I received hits the first mark completely. It’s an adorable pink metallic color with an brilliant pop of white for the controls. It’s not too big and bulky and is easy to take with me anywhere.

What’s absolutely perfect for a user like myself is the ease of use. The device synced right up to my computer and in a matter of seconds I was downloading my music files onto the device. File transfer moved quickly and effortlessly leaving me free to do other things without worrying of there were any issues arising.

The buttons are laid out in a way where you can use your device with ease, even on a first time use. The buttons are clearly labeled so you know exactly what you’re doing as opposed to just random button mashing. I love being able to shift through my songs and adjust the volume without pushing the wrong thing. My MP3/MP4 player also came with the connection cord and earbuds so there were no extra purchases necessary, SCORE!

I find myself having an issue I’ve never had before…but that’s a good thing! I have the last 10 years of my music collection digitized and my device isn’t even halfway filled yet. Usually I run out of space and have to pick and choose what songs and artists I want to keep. I love having all of my music in one place, so accessible and makes my life just a little bit easier.

KidWavz Children’s Bluetooth Headphones

Brainwavz Audio did a brilliant job when designing the KidWavz volume-limited bluetooth children’s headphones. Every aspect of the headphones seems to be designed specifically with their child user in mind.

The KidWavz headphones that I received to review with my daughter are a much higher quality than I had anticipated, which is always a plus. The buttons are on the outside of the headphones making it easy to use every function with ease. There were no issues syncing the Bluetooth headphones with my tablet and was a simple process to complete. The vertical adjustment is perfectly designed and allows the headphones to fit kids ages 4 to 14.

My 4 year old gets one hour of tablet time a day and LOVES playing her games on it. As any parent knows, the repetitive songs that come along with kid apps can be a little annoying. The KidWavz headphones have been a heaven send! Not only does it save me from the dreaded kid apps, my daughter feels very special with her own headphones.

The feature that I love the most is the noise limitation when in bluetooth mode. When you are using the KidWavz via a bluetooth connection, the noise level is limited to 85db. The bass is also lowered to enable crisper vocals so you can rest assured knowing your not allowing damage to occur to your child’s hearing function. You can also plug the headphones in directly to a device that doesn’t have bluetooth BUT the volume limitation is only in bluetooth mode so make sure you manually set the volume. If you have a child who uses electronic devices, these are a must have, and I can already picture a couple more pairs under my Christmas tree this year for my other two children.

Boost Mobile Review and Giveaway

If you aren’t using Boost Mobile for your wireless provider, I have a few questions for you:

1. Why not?

2. How much are you paying?

3. Are you completely happy with your wireless provider?

When I asked my friends and family these questions, I learned that most of them were paying upwards of $100 a month, and were not at all happy with the service they’re being provided. As a loyal Boost Mobile customer for the past 6 years, I have to tell you that I don’t understand why people are still using any other provider!

I live in the middle of nowhere, and I need a reliable service provider. When I say I live in the middle of nowhere, I mean it very literally. There are 5 miles of dirt roads to get to my house from the main highway. I live 25 miles from the closest grocery store. I also live 25 miles from the closest hospital, doctor, shopping area…you get the idea. I have never had any issue with my calls dropping, there are no spots of ‘no service’, and I’ve never had any issues with my web connectivity. In the past 6 years I’ve only had to call customer service a total of 3 times. Each time the issue was resolved on the first call, and the customer service agents are always pleasant and very helpful.

Another thing I love about Boost is that you can get the latest and greatest phones without being tied into a contract. I was provided the LG G Stylo and am absolutely in love with it.

I love how smooth and sleek the phone is. It’s an attractive device that functions even better than it looks. I do a lot of work from my phone, and I need something that can really keep up with me without failing. So far the 1.2 GHz quad-core processor has taken everything I’ve thrown at it and still just keeps going.

These are a few screenshots I took from the 5.7″ HD IPS touchscreen display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. I’ve never owned a device with such a clear, crisp picture. The LG G Stylo surpassed any expectation I had of it before using it. Truly a stellar device at an amazing price.
